The questions that actually arrive in the inbox, answered the way we would answer them in a message.

Do you make these tools yourselves?: Yes. Every tool in this catalogue is a Pisol design, drawn here and made to our drawings. We do not resell other people’s gear under our name.
Why can I not buy on this site?: Because we do not run a checkout and are not about to learn. The button on each tool opens that tool on our retail partner, and the purchase happens there.
Is the price on this site the price I pay?: It is the last figure we recorded, which is why we say so next to it. The live number is on the partner’s page, and that is the one that charges your card.
The tool comes in three colours. Does the site show all of them?: Yes, on the tool’s own page. The buttons under the picture swap the finish, and the picture, the figure and the button all move together.
Is stainless steel or cast iron better for a press?: Different jobs. Cast iron carries its own weight, so it flattens a patty while you do something else, and it holds heat on a griddle. Stainless is lighter, takes a dishwasher without a thought and does not need seasoning. The notes page on presses goes through it properly.
Will a funnel fit my jars?: Check the mouth, not the jar. Standard mouths are around 70mm and wide mouths around 86mm, and the sets in the catalogue list which sizes they cover. If your jars are odd, write and tell us the measurement.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?: Most of the catalogue, yes, and the icons on each tool page say so at a glance. Cast iron is the exception and always will be.
Do you take trade or bulk enquiries?: Write to us. We are small enough that a real person will read it and answer.
