Your details stay put
This site is a catalogue of flat files. It has no accounts, no basket and no reason to know who you are.
What we collect here
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. No forms, no sign-up, no newsletter box, no chat widget. We set no cookies of our own and run no advertising or analytics scripts, so nothing on these pages follows you to the next site.
The one thing your browser stores is the answer you pick in the finder, and it lives in the address bar after the # sign. Nothing leaves your machine, and closing the tab is the whole of deleting it.
What the host sees
The pages are served by our hosting provider, which keeps ordinary server records: an IP address, a timestamp, which file was requested, which browser asked. That is how any web server works, and it is used to keep the site up rather than to build a picture of you.
What happens after you press a button
You leave. The button opens the tool on our retail partner in a new tab, and from there their privacy policy applies, not ours. Anything you type into their checkout is between you and them, and we never see it.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to their servers when a page opens. That request is subject to Google’s own policy.
Asking us things
If you write to us, we keep the message so we can answer it and so we can spot a pattern when the same fault turns up twice. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Still stuck? The Questions before you cook page covers the questions that arrive most often, and the kitchen notes go deeper on the tools themselves.
