This red wand handles three separate steps on canning day without crowding the counter. Slide the notched end along the inside of the jar to pop trapped air, check your headspace against the stepped ruler, and use the magnetic tip to lift hot lids from the pot. We pack two together so a helper can work the second pot.

Using it

1. Slide the plastic end down the inside edge of your filled jar to release any trapped air bubbles.
2. Rest the notched measurement tip across the jar rim to check that your headspace matches the recipe.
3. Touch the magnetic end to a hot lid in the pan and move it directly onto the jar.
